A calendar during the .

A COG calendar during the Pendulum Wars.

A Season is a division of time on Sera based on changes in weather, ecology, and the number of daylight hours in a given region.

Seran Calendar and Seasons

There are roughly 26 hours in a Seran day, 10 days in a Seran week, 30 - 38 days in a Seran month, and 12 months in a Seran year, which contains 420 - 460 days.[1]

It is unknown what the calendar era used on Sera before the Locust War, except that they were approaching the end of their 26th century (2592).[2] Due to the global significance of Emergence Day, in which 25% of Sera's population was massacred by the Locust Horde, the calendar era was changed to reflect E-Day as its epoch. Years were designated to Before Emergence (B.E.) and After Emergence (A.E.), with 0 B.E./A.E. being year zero in this new calendar system.[3]

The Locust Calendar is similar to that of a sundial and is calibrated by the flow of Imulsion.[22] For every season, it has an opposite. Each season is equivalent to a Seran month, and a full rotation of the calendar is "one cycle", which is equivalent to one Seran year.[23]

Human Analysis on the Locust Calendar

Baird here.

I think this thing's like the Locust equivalent of a calendar or a clock... it says something about 'every season having its opposite,' and I also see some glyphs for 'Nexus,' 'Queen,' and maybe 'Imulsion'... can't quite tell.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the ebb and flow of Imulsion, but I'd have to do a lot more research to confirm that.

Considering that I'm about, oh, 3 kilometers deep, right square in the guts of the enemy, you'll have to forgive me if my vast empirical skills aren't exactly at their finest right now.[22]
