Agustus Cole, A.K.A the "The Cole Train" is an adrenaline junkie, and former professional thrashball player. He craves action and prefers to take the most direct path to the locust horde in any situation. What he lacks in subtlety he makes up for in raw energy.

Marcus Fenix

Marcus Fenix established himself as a war hero during the Pendulum Wars. He was on the fast track to an outstanding military career - until the monstrous locust horde emerged from the underground. Now leading Delta Squad, he simply fights for survival.

Dominic Santiago

Dominic "Dom" Santiago and Marcus Fenix have fought side by side since the Pendulum Wars. It was Dom's unwavering loyalty and friendship that saved Marcus' life when he pulled Marcus from a Locust overrun prison into Delta Squad. Dom's two children were killed on E-day and his wife was lost soon afterwards, so his fight against the horde is deeply personal.

Daimon Baird

Daimon Baird is ruthless in battle and regularly decorated and promoted for his tactical genius. Unfortunately he is then demoted for his frequent bouts of insubordination and bad attitude. His intellect and engineering skills come in handy for battlefield repairs or understanding Locust strategy. After years of fighting, his only remaining emotion is self-preservation. He'll do whatever it takes to get through the war alive - even march alongside a troublemaker like Fenix.
