Geobots are small robots used to store map data. Adam Fenix used several geobots to map the Locust tunnel network, even without resonator technology.[1]
Damon Baird used a geobot to repair the APC found outside Haldane Hall inside the East Barricade Academy.[2]
Geobots use the same floatation technology as JACK and are considered cheaper to manufacture due to their sheer abundance of destroyed Geobots littered around in the Gears franchise.

Trivia
- Originally, the player was going to have to find geobots in levels, but were eventually replaced by COG Tags as they were easier to spot. You can still find these geobots throughout the game.
- When shot, they bleed like a living object.
