The Locust Highway was the main road network that allowed the Locust Horde to travel from the capital city of Nexus to the Hollow.

The Locust Highway was constructed around 30 B.E. shortly after the Mount Kadar Laboratory Uprising, in which the Locust rebelled against the scientists that created them and escaped the Mount Kadar Laboratory, led by Myrrah - their creator and Queen. Upon becoming independent, they traveled deeper in the caverns of Mount Kadar to build their capital of Nexus. As their civilization expanded, they constructed the Locust Highway to connect to other Locust cities within the Hollow.
