Sergeant M. Blythe was a Gear soldier in the Coalition of Ordered Governments army who died during body-recovering efforts after the Destruction of Halvo Bay.

Destruction of Halvo Bay
Three months after Emergence Day, Blythe was part of the effort to defend the COG Engineering Corps after the Destruction of Halvo Bay. Blythe was part of a protection detail that guarded the engineers and volunteers who recovered bodies from Halvo Bay after the huge Locust assault. Blythe was killed defending the engineers. Blythe's COG Tag was later recovered by Cpl. Damon Baird in 17 A.E.[1]
