Mackenzie was an Outsider in the post-Locust War era living in Fort Umson. She was a trader along with her twin brother, Eli, and was trading with the South Village during the ambush of Fort Umson, making her and Eli one of the few sole survivors of the Village.

• Leslie Macallister was possibly meant to be Mackenzie in Gears of War 4, as his name was initially Aleck Mackenzie, but would still go by the nickname "Mac". In addition, Mac was supposed to be from Fort Umson. Due to Mac originally being named Mackenzie, being a trader with other villagers, and was absent during the attack on Fort Umson - it's possible that William was referring him when he said Mackenzie was trading with the South Village, but Mac's character and origins later changed, and Mackenzie was later revealed to be a teenaged girl.^[1]
