Mercy Church was the local church in Mercy, Tyrus. The tombs of the church were used as an air-raid shelter for citizens of Mercy, and was successful in saving lives during the Bombardment of Mercy. After the Hammer of Dawn Strikes, the church was used as a pump control station to bring Imulsion from the nearby Mercy Fuel Refinery to the Mercy Fuel Station.

History

Pendulum Wars

The air raid shelter in the tombs of Mercy Church were used to protect civilians during the UIR's Bombardment of Mercy.

Locust War

When the Locust Horde initiated the Locust War with Emergence Day, the COG evacuated the town, though Mercy was mostly spared by the Locust Horde.

Shortly after E-Day, former resident Maria Santiago returned to bury her parents, who had been killed in the attacks, in the Flores Family plot behind the church.

After the Hammer of Dawn Strikes, the survivors known as the Stranded returned to Mercy and continued to use the Mercy Fuel Refinery to refine Imulsion to use as trade with other Stranded. The main pipeline ran through the church graveyard to the other side at the Mercy Fuel Station.
