The Rocket Transport Train arrives at the UIR Turntable Launch Tower where Delta Squad makes their way to the control room. At Del's direction, JACK accesses the control panel, causing the tower to latch onto to the UIR Rocket and rotate into place. As Delta celebrates their success, alarms suddenly go off and Garron Paduk translates the Vasgari to mean that JACK has inadvertently initiated the launch sequence before Delta was ready.
You quickly flee down the tower, but are attacked by the Kraken and Flocks emerging from its tentacles. You have to repeatedly target the sphericals and kill the Flocks to drive the beast off.
Eventually, you descend down an elevator, only to have the Kraken smash it, trapping Delta under the igniting the engines of the rocket. You have to hold the Kraken off by shooting the tentacles that it sends at you. Eventually, the Kraken's thrashing opens a tunnel out, but it is blocked by the Kraken. Finally, the rocket's engines ignite, burning the Kraken and allowing you to make your escape.
Delta flees across the desert, desperately trying to get to a minimum safe distance. Paduk arrives in KR Nine-Seven to rescue Delta, but Fahz Chutani falls and has to be saved Del. As Paduk flies away, the rocket launches and sends the three Hammer of Dawn satelites into orbit. Watching from a distance, Queen Reyna is displeased by this development.
