Risea was an unknown celestial body known to the Serans. Little is known about it except that some people believe it to be where the Locust originated from, though this rumor is false.
Behind the scenes
Risea is Aesir spelled backwards. Aesir is the name for a group of Norse gods,[2] just as Sera backwards is Ares, the Greek god of war.[3]
