Locust War

One year after Emergence Day, the COG used the Hammer of Dawn to scorch Locust-infested areas outside the Jacinto Plateau. While Hanover was spared, the COG eventually abandoned the city and was ruled by the Locust and human survivors of the Hammer strikes, known as the Stranded. Several Stranded camps were created in the city, one of them being in Super Snack Champion.

Lambent Pandemic

In 17 A.E., the Lambent began to overrun Hanover during the Lambent Pandemic. During Bloom 17 A.E., the Lambent attacked the Stranded camps in the Hanover Pier and Super Snack Champion.

Shortly after, a COG supply run led by Pvt. Augustus Cole led Gears to the store during the Mission to Hanover in need of food and supplies for the CNV Sovereign. They were successful in retrieving a pallet of canned goods in the rear of the store.
