Gears of War: Source Book

I'd just read the gears of war:source book and it was okay. The problem is, the story in the comic has a battle but the location is given "near jacinto". And this is the second comic that showed a battle with no name (The quickening had a one panel strip of the aftermath of a battle). And no name is given. RE:Activity and image licensing

On articles no. The dialogue is the collectibles from Gears of War 2. But info like Operation:Hollow Storm was a do or die literary! They did not teach them how to used the grindlifts to go back up but hinted they can't. And Harper said "everyone got called in didn't matter if you were sick or not". And it seem Harpers dig zone was not attack. And the Locust captured HUNDREDS of gears! But Jace was in it did not talk and it dos not show how Harper got a new pair of Armor or how he made it back to the surface. It didn't even show the family he saved expect for there back. I was looking on the Main page and I noticed we need to put up an Article of the Month for October. Thank you very much for making the template (remind me to ask you how to make them one of these days). Jack also mentioned that he wanted more of the templates to have a more canonical basis so I modified the template so that it did (I went with Niles). If you or Jack do not like it, then feel free to change it back.

I'm trying to tidy up Niles as much as I can since he's the only one with a Support in his section, but if Operation Hollow Storm or the Evacuation of North Gate are still in the running, we need to decide this week. Left Hand Menu

I think it would be better if we changed certain aspects of the left hand menu such as characters to not focus on specific characters but to focus on character groups such as stranded, cog personel etc. Also could we change the books tab to be literature instead and have tabs a little like Halopedia (http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page) With novels and comics having their own sub tabs. Believe me, I understand all too well how it is to be swamped. I've had to cut heavily back on my editing as well because of my schoolwork.
I think you're right in that we can hold off on an unreleased template; I just saw it on the Mario and Zelda wiki sites and thought it was interesting. But don't worry too much about your absence right now because 1. real life trumps wiki, and 2. we're in a low traffic time with the lack of news on the Gears of War video game part of the franchise. Opening Passage of Gears of War (Franchise) Article

Hi, I am Gelugon_baat, a user at GameSpot. I had just had a discussion with another user about who owns the Gears of War franchise exactly. From this page on this Wiki that described the Gears of War franchise, it would seem to suggest that Microsoft Games Studios owns it. Yet, in a statement to VG247, Mark Rein, who is the Vice-President of Epic Games, asserted that the franchise belongs to Epic Games. Furthermore, merchandizing licenses, like that for Nightmare Armor Studios, were obtained from Epic Games - not Microsoft Game Studios. There are also the DC comics, which do not have any Microsoft logo on them.

Perhaps a rewording of the opening passage for the Gearspedia article concerned would be needed, if only to reduce confusion when making references relevant to the Gears of War franchise.

I can't take all the credit. The Forgotten Jedi been a beast in updating all the characters from the books. But I'm glad you still are around, but I'm moving more and more away from the idea of moving from Wikia. We might just add anti-blog and comments policies. And I disagree with not needing your input, you been my right hand man on this wikia and help solved a lot of problems and always stick up for me.
